Our news agencies do a great job of bringing us local and world news, much of it alarming. We should be thankful that our problems are small by comparison, we are not being invaded or bombed and our leaders are in the main there to look after our welfare. New Zealand can be better than it is and with ongoing care it will be. Poverty should play no part in our future and just as our forefathers were able to provide houses for almost everyone, we should aim to do the same. Our farmers and businesses are world class, thus able to provide jobs and exports for a sound economy. Go New Zealand!
